The Proximity Network

Proxity aims to develop, manage and maintain the biggest worldwide available self-growing, self-evolving and self-healing RTLS (Real Time Location System) network. This network can be used by individuals, businesses or governments for any RTLS purposes - information, marketing, commercial, social, health, etc.

The network is made up of RTLS devices, that use Bluetooth Low Energy technology, which enables interaction with smartphones and other portable electronic devices.

Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)

Beacons are Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) devices and are the way in which locations and objects can interact with smartphones. Both the Android and iOS systems allow the recognition and interaction with Beacons via the Eddystone and iBeacon protocols developed by Google and Apple, respectively. The availability of these allows the creation of a proximity network that will deliver location-linked digital messages.

Safe and Eco

The beacon does not require a power source as it has a Battery inside and can be placed anywhere. The range of the beacon can be anywhere from 10 meters and up to 300 meters. The average lifetime of the beacon is 3-5 years (depending on climate conditions). The beacon does not collect or store any information.

The proximity technology enables smartphones, tablets and other devices to perform actions when in proximity of a Beacon. Such RTLS devices (Real Time Location Services) are automatically detected by all devices with iOS7+ and Android 4.3+.
