The Proximity Network
Proxity aims to develop, manage and maintain the biggest worldwide available self-growing, self-evolving and self-healing RTLS (Real Time Location System) network. This network can be used by individuals, businesses or governments for any RTLS purposes - information, marketing, commercial, social, health, etc.
The network is made up of RTLS devices, that use Bluetooth Low Energy technology, which enables interaction with smartphones and other portable electronic devices.
The Proxity network is continuously and rapidly growing, new available locations are added every day!
Having a system adaptable to many different contexts and based on a global unified RTLS devices network, gives us the opportunity to overcome any entry-barriers to provide it besides the existing proprietary solutions.
Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)
Beacons are Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) devices and are the way in which locations and objects can interact with smartphones. Both the Android and iOS systems allow the recognition and interaction with Beacons via the Eddystone and iBeacon protocols developed by Google and Apple, respectively. The availability of these allows the creation of a proximity network that will deliver location-linked digital messages.
Safe and Eco
The beacon does not require a power source as it has a Battery inside and can be placed anywhere. The range of the beacon can be anywhere from 10 meters and up to 300 meters. The average lifetime of the beacon is 3-5 years (depending on climate conditions). The beacon does not collect or store any information.
The proximity technology enables smartphones, tablets and other devices to perform actions when in proximity of a Beacon. Such RTLS devices (Real Time Location Services) are automatically detected by all devices with iOS7+ and Android 4.3+.
Location Data & analytics
Make decisions based on real data!
The Proxity RTLS Network can give you geolocated data that are among the most powerful and useful for understanding the behavior of users or consumers.
Understanding how, where users move and how much time they spend in different locations, allows together with other data sets to solve many business or institutional issues and to achieve goals in many different sectors.
For these reasons, Location Data of mobile devices has become fundamental for almost all sectors, both commercial and institutional.
